1st dfw month ... going better than i thought

I am so pleased i found this site if i hadn't i know that i wouldn't have done any thing constructive about my debts just buried my head furthur in the sand.
I have several different buy it now pay later from spending on catelogues all ending at diffeent times, i paid the first one of which was due this month and only £54/£228 left to pay on the one that due 27th May. If i hadn't of found this site i know i wouldn't have paid it and it would have added an extra £75 to the £228 i already owed. Will pay the extra £54 next tuesday and then the next one isn't due until 18th August, biggest thing i have realised is that making small payments add up before i thought if i didn't have the full amount i would pay nothing.
I other big thing that has changed is the way i feel generally about life i am begining to realise that the material things in life really don't matter and if i can't afford it save for it don't put it one credit.
The biggest thing i will change this time is when a debt is cleared the acount will be closed so i'm not tempted, i buy things for the sake of it because i get a discount code or voucher through, especially these catel;ogues with there spend £50 get £25 off, but the problem is i didn't need the item in the first place yes i cost me 1/2 price but i am still another £25 in debt for it.
Sorry i am rambling, but this time i have to do something different and hoping these board and posts is the thing that changes me forever
Good luck everyone

Wholeheartedly agree - a bargain is not a bargain if
a) its going to cost a lot more money in the long run
b) you don't need it anyway!!! (and by you I also mean me :rotfl::rotfl:)
Good luck and do share anymore inspitational thoughts :j:j0 -
