Credit card companies own dmp's

I am going to set up a dmp with payplan or cccs. Either of these will take a while to set up but in the meantime I have credit card payments due this month for which I can't afford to pay the full minimum repayments. I have spoken to two of the cc companies to say I can't afford to pay the minimum paymemt and they offered a reduced amount if i agreed to enter their dmp and have an arrangement to pay marker placed on my credit ref file. If I agree to this would this prejudice any reduced payment offers payplan or cccs make to them when the time comes? Should I wait until the dmp with cccs or payplan takes affect rather than sign up for the credit card companies own repayment plan?
