Getting rid of a stain, the label says 30 and P confused!

I bought a lovely new bedding set the other day, but last night I was getting ready and put my moisturiser pot on the bed runner, there must have been a bit of moisturiser on the bottom of the pot as I when I picked it up it had a left a small round 'wet look' stain
I tried wiping it with a damp cloth and warm water, it helped a little but it is still noticeable. I had a look at the washing label it says 100% polyester and it has a 30 with a line underneath so I was going on put it in on a 30 wash, but then there is also a circle with a P and a line underneath which I thought meant dry clean only? so I'm confused about which one it is as I don't want to ruin it!
Can anybody point me in the right direction or suggest any ways of getting rid of the stain if it is dry clean only? thank you!

I think if an item cannot be laundered or dry-cleaned (I think the "P" stands for the kind of solvent) I would expect those symbols to have a cross over them.
It sounds to me like both laundering and dry-cleaning are possible for this item. If it's a greasy mark (which I suspect it is) in the first instance I would cover the mark in some neat washing-up liquid, rub it in gently and then pop it in the washing-machine on a gentle (low agitation) programme.0 -
Thanks for the advice, I'll give it a go!
