Warning - they're useless they are. I was with them and Im still trying to sort out the mess! You're better off trying one of the 'free' DMP providers - CCCS/Payplan etc. Failing that, just pass the threat-o-grams onto them and let them deal with it.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

Does Freshstart Finance charge for their service? If they do, perhaps you should consider CCCS or PayPlan who do the same sort of thing for free, meaning the maximum amount possible will go to your creditors.
As for The Money Shop, I suspect if you read the letter again you'll note it says we may do this and we may do that. Basically the letter is meant to scare you into paying them. Once they realise you're on a debt management plan and begin receiving payments they'll probably grudgingly back down.0 -
The money shop is part of payday express. If PDE agree to a payment plan then so should the money shop. They are just trying it on in the hope you are scared enough to pay what they are asking.0

My mate is with a DMP company (not one of the free ones) when he used to get letters/phonecalls from companies wanting more, he just used to tell them to contact his DMP company.
For the first year or more, he was getting these type of letters/calls, they have now stopped though.
The main thing is, that as long as you are making an effort to clear your debts, that even if things do go to the court stage a judge is high likely to tell Money Shop to get lost.
As for who you are using, can't comment, I know my mates one certainly seems to be doing the job, but you do need to make sure you can track your progress at all times.0
