These are on offer at £2 for 5oog. They are frozen but really good quality. We had them last night and husband commented on how juicy the chicken was (that was a first!!). 5 in my bag so I was very pleased with price.

Thanks OP. I find shopping around for meat a nightmare - some chicken has water injected into it and most of it seems to up being around the same price no matter where you go - even Lidl or Aldi. Is this cheap? I think I got some (no water added) frozen chicken fillets from Aldi for around the same price which was their normal price. I could be wrong though. Most people's evidence is anecdotal (oh I find Aldi cheap) but it's difficult to find out if anywhere is cheaper - I think it's all price-fixed anyway.
EDIT:
This is what I mean:
The £2 for 500g chicken fillets mentioned at ASDA seem to have 18% water added.
You can get 100% Sainsbury's Chicken Fillet Pieces 500g no-water-added for £2.50 if you buy two (2 x for a fiver - or 1000g for a fiver).
So Asda doesn't end up being a great bargain. Only 7p cheaper if you take off the 18% water added. Have I done that right ???
Also, the normal price of ASDA Smartprice fillets (again with 18% added water) is actually cheaper at £1.75 (£3.49 for 1000g).
Pls. don't think I'm getting at the OP, my point is, the supermarkets are all price fixed on the healthy essentials. Ok, ramble over.0
