    regarding insurances?

One insurance system often overlooked is via a Union at work.

Union membership in these uncertain job times is pretty much essential, to allow the individual to protect themselves against the knee-jerk management [performance-related] actions.

Unions also have cheap insurance schemes, as well as often running credit-union savings schemes....

OK, well the last job "offer" wasn't as much of an offer as I thought. It seems that my understanding of "we'd like to have you on board" and theirs was somewhat different...

Anyway, I have a second interview for a different job on Tuesday so am back to run the new figures past my most learned friends on the MSE board :)

Travel: High but required. It's a zone 1-6 travelcard for the London Underground.
Mobile & Internet: Part of the job will require both although, at this stage, I don't know if the business part will be claimable on X's.

    Any thoughts?

If you got the job, couldnt you simply ask them to pay you less for the remainder of your bankruptcy. I know as an employer I wouldnt turn you down. Start you off on the same salary as you are on now before upping it on your release.
