Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks!

Depends how cheap you want to go. Like most other things, you get what you pay for. The cheaper the price the cheaper the quality.0

Hi,
I've bumped this thread again in the hope someone can help.
Any recommendations of companies who sell reasonably priced wooden flooring?
I've found a few on the internet but I'm reluctant to order as I don't know what they're like.
Thanks!0 -
You might try posting on the DIY forum, I am looking for cheap wooden flooring too though so if there are any sales people know about do tell0

I agree, you get what you pay for with wood flooring. How cheap are you talking? What is your budget?Smile though your bank is breaking:)0

Oh and where are you both based?Smile though your bank is breaking:)0

Pm me with what roughly you are looking for. When you say real wood do you want solid wood or engineered flooring? What species/colour did you have in mind.Smile though your bank is breaking:)0

Do you have a Makro card? We have used the Nicoline bamboo flooring from there.
Today we bought some Nicoline light oak 100% wood flooring for just £11.99 a pack
It is reduced at the moment. It is item number 5015007020499 and is shown on the invoice as 'Light Oak plankflooring'
I can certainly recommend the Nicoline range for long lasting quality & durability
I just found a link to it here.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
I was hoping to buy real wood flooring but we have quite a bit of floor to cover (just bought an old house with big rooms!).
Budget for whole job is £2-£3k as we want it to last for a very long time and think it's worth the investment (although that budget may not take us too far with real wood).
I'm based in Glasgow.0 -
If you have the same floor throughout it means you will probably get a better price. I have sent you a pm:TSmile though your bank is breaking:)0

I am looking for similar - a solid oak floor. However, we are based in Bournemouth. Would you have any good suggestions for me?
We have approx. 52m2 downstairs (lounge, kitchen/diner, WC, hall, understairs cupboard), and would like the same floor throughout. We've decided we prefer a natural colour (brushed and oiled, NOT lacquered), and are trying to find somewhere with a good price.
I'd be very grateful of any help anyone could give, please!0
