Hello All
I really hope someone kind can advise me as i am in a bit of a mess. I am currently in a DMP with payplan which is going along okay at the moment.
I have a car loan with Northridge finance which i have stupidly gotten into arrears with of £1600. My usual monthly payment is £145 so yes i have fallen well behind. I rang them last month to set up a payment plan, they have never chased me for the arrears. i agreed to pay £300 a month, which would be a squeeze.they never sent a letter or anything to confirm the repayment plan it was all just done over the phone. unfortunately this month i couldnt make the payment so they rang, i agreed to pay the £300 on 27th april and another £300 on 1st may.
however today i have received a letter saying my agreement is cancelled and i must pay £1600 arrears and return the car.
Any suggestions? I really need the car for work as i work in the community. I have the option of having a lease car through work but that will take a couple of months to set up and get a car.
any advice would be really appreciated, i feel sick to my stomach
