Experian Credit Check

Hi,
Just signed up to experian free credit score check. i got 999 which is pretty good
i am happy with this score, i do have some credit card debt but have never missed a payment or been late.
Will my score change or is this accurate (obviously it will change if i get into more debt) but i was just concerned that it will change in a week as they don't have all the information.
Cheers

This "credit score" is really meaningless it is Experian's best guess at what potential creditors might think.
Potential creditors look at lots things, your history of paying on time, CCJs, late payments, defaults, overall debt, amount of available unused credit and any other criteria that is important to them, they will also use any history you have using them in the past to build up this picture.
They score using their own criteria looking for people fitting their picture of an "ideal customer" i.e. One the could make them the most money from with the least risk.
Don't pay to access this "credit score" as no such thing exists, more important to check all the details on your reports are accurate and you can use the Statutory Credit Reports for this. They only cost £2 each time you order themEmpty pockets never held anyone back! Only empty heads and empty hearts can do that! ~Norman Vincent PealeBR 12/03/2010 ED 12/08/2010BSC #3380 -
Lenders don't see your Experian credit score and it's a waste of money to see.0

yes i have only done the 30 day trial and will cancel it soon.
i have had the £2 stat report and it showed the same info (i.e. credit history) i assumed the credit score was done by what banks usually look for... obviously not.
Thanks for you help0 -
Each lender has their own scoring criteria.0
