Semi Permanent Hair Dye

Had my hair dyed brunette today, it is the second time I have had it done, I used to be blonde until about 3 months ago. Anyway, I love it when I have just had it done, its lovely and dark, I think they use a 5 on me. Only problem is that it fades so quickly which isnt good!!!

Ws wondering about using a semi permanent dye myself inbetween the hairdressers doing it, say in about 3 weeks time? Seen this one on superdrug and looks ok

Any reviews anyone? Or just advice?
Also - silly question but how do you apply semi permanent brown hair dye?!?

i would use one that lasts 8 washes, you usually put it on towel dried hair covering all you hair and wash off after 20 minutes
