I've got a Magimix with the extra large bowl (I use 450 - 500g of flour for x2 loaves), I use the dough hook (a lot). I have also made bread by hand; the results are similar. But it does make life a lot easier, I have very limited space.0

I do make a nice batch of buns by hand but it is time consuming and I am not the most patient of cooks!
I have recently treated myself to a Kenwod KMix and have yet to make a batch of dough in it, my experiences of Breadmakers are not great - I got one when they first came out and tbh the results were fairly heavy even when I adjusted ingredients etc. It ended up on the car boot and then I just made by hand, I think I may pop a batch of dough in later and see how my results turn out.0 -
