Lottery tickets or scratch cards

i know this is not important! But I am giving ticket holders as favours
and cant decide between lottery tickets http://www.flickr.com/photos/52286518@N02/5624681164/in/photostream
or scratch cards

good things bout scratch cards-
ppl know straight away if they have won
can buy in bulk

Good things about lottery tickets-
draw on the wednesday- so people will be thinking about us straight on the wednesday after the wedding
But- Can't buy tickets individually- wel we can but the shop won't be happy!

Which would you prefer?

    I'd prefer a scratch card.

If they're couples, what about scratch cards for the ladies and lotto tickets for then men, or vice versa?

Been a while since I last played on the lottery but just had a quick look at their online website FAQs. I *think* you would be able to buy your lottery tickets online and then print them out individually. Saves you the hassle of going to a shop and asking them to produce a large number of tickets for you.

How can I print my tickets?
To print specific tickets, please go to 'My Account', and then select either the 'My Tickets' icon, or the 'View tickets' option on the left-hand side. You can then view each ticket individually and print it using the handy icon in the top right-hand corner. There is also a link to 'View your tickets' on the confirmation page following your purchase. If you attempt to print your ticket from the ticket confirmation page, the format will not be correct and may result in you not being able to see your complete ticket.

But if you do that, any winnings are paid to YOU and not your guest, because it's your ticket and not theirs.

Ah yes that is very true! Lol looks like there isn't a get around - you're gonna have to go to a shop and ask for individual tickets :)
Either that or you tell everyone if they will you'll pass the money onto them :rotfl:
