I think I should give up driving and get a bus pass.
Just discovered that the NSR light cluster on my car is broken. I haven't reversed into anything (:D) but I remember hearing a stone hit the car pretty hard on the motorway which might've cracked it.
Car is less than 2 months old :wall::wall: _pale_
Anyone know where I can buy a NSR light cluster for a MY2011 Kia Picanto without having to hold up a bank? :rotfl:

Just needs a coat of industrial knacker lacquer, adds lustre to your cluster.:rotfl:

Found one for £60 delivered on eBay (brand new) - anything 2nd hand is either too old ( different style ) or the seller will not guarantee the condition.
No idea how much they cost from a dealer but I guess more than that? (parts desks at all local dealers were closed when I found out)
Don't think I'll find one in a scrapyard because it was facelifted recently.0 -
Always worth checking the dealer for parts prices.
There can sometimes be a nice surprise, rather than a nasty one.
In this case, I doubt a lens will be much less than £60, and probably more.0 -
Bought from the dealer @ £63 - saves the hassle of waiting for delivery. Pick it up tomorrow morning.
Unbelievably the full unit with bulb holders etc was £63 and the lens on it's own was £94.......0 -
£63? for a rear light, should have bought a Renault mate, much cheaper on parts......................sorry couldn't resist0

Seriously doubt that the same light cluster for my Laguna would be cheaper from a dealer - had to replace one on a Nissan Almera (Renault-Nissan) and the dealer wanted well over £100.0 -
I would have to check the price of a light for a Clio, as comparing your Picanto parts cost with a Laguna is not a fair comparison.
I will let you know if any of the rear lights on the wifes Clio crack in the night......
Though I got two rear light clusters for my mk3 Mondeo a couple of years ago for £80 the pair as I wanted to have the nicer 2005 onwards lights.0 -
How does a stone hit the rear light on the motorway?0

Maybe it isn't a quality car!!!!!!!!!!
I suspect that some kids have been kicking a ball about near it and that has caused the broken light, or a cyclist hitting it with their handlebars when parked in the street.
But, I can't resisit the odd wind-up, he was so pleased with the dela he got, pity about the light and rattle over bumps.
Neither of which plague my wifes 56 plate, Clio, french cars eh? Nothing but trouble apparently.....................0 -
Still pleased with the deal I got and would rather drive it than a diseasel Clio0
