Cat’s Whiskers 1 and 2 are the latest releases from Bothy Threads and, as ever, they’re must-stitch designs. Cat’s Whiskers 1 shows a sweet ginger puss creeping among the leaves and berries, while the moggie in Cat’s Whiskers 2 has smoky grey fur – a lovely contrast to the pretty pink lilies. Both designs have a finished size of 28 x 18cm (11 x 7in) on 14-count aida, and each kit costs around £27.49. For more details, contact Bothy Threads on 01638 665149 or visit www.bothythreads.com

Never put tables and chairs in the same room.
If they congregate together for any length of time, they will inevitably hatch plots against you and your pets.
