car insurance.is this effecting my credit score

hi

this is a busy site , even if its not quite in the right thread/ section

i have a small issue in that i keep getting mail in someone elses name at my address , they do not live at my address and i have never heard of them . however they set up car insurance based on my address. of course after the insurer never got any money i know get mail saying debt is transfered to debt collector as policy is cancelled ( must be admin and fee ect) . will this effect my credit rating ? on calling the insurer they do not want to speak to me as i am not the person on the system and fail dpa..

does it go by name or name and address on property. i only ask as im due to change my mortgage in 2/3 months and dont want to get a bad score and failed appliaction

Addresses don't get blacklisted anymore, it goes on name only.

It wont affect your credit rating rating at all.

It goes on names,DOB and not addresses,

Dont bother anymore contacting anyone, you are completely wasting your time, just put any
letters back in the post saying 'not at this address'
