Hi everyone, I dont get to post here much anymore have had to frequent the debt free board lately  and to think I was the OP of the first storecupboard challenge thread and won £50 for post of the month!
Anyways, I need some quick pudding ideas. My son loves a pudding but we dont have one most nights and he moans and moans so does anyone have any ideas? Banana and custard and baked apple with sultanas are quite common in our house. He doesnt like yoghurt, but likes most other desserts. Most pudding seem to take a lot of time which I dont tend to have midweek so please help, any ideas need to be cheap

Bananas and cream
Slice a banana into a bowl, sprinkle on some raisins/sultanas. add a sprinkle of brown sugar, top with whipped cream (or yogurt, but cream is nicer):)
Fried jam sandwiches
Make a jam sandwich buttering the outside of the bread rather than the inside IYSWIM. Fry or toast in a sandwich maker. Serve with whipped cream (again). careful - very hot;)
Fruit in jelly
Not so quick, but if you do it in the morning it will be ready for tea. Make up an orange jelly following the instructions, use the juice of a tin of mandarins to make up the liquid, plus extra water to make up to a pint, add the mandarins. Pour into a bowl and refrigerate.

Microwave sponge pudding.
Microwave flapjacks - but have to wait for them to cool as they crumble.
Toasted chocolate spread and banana sarnies, or banana and cinnamon.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
1/2 pint of jelly topped up with carnation milk to the pint mark, whisk till all light and fluffy then stick it in the fridge to chill. It`s kinda like a mouse style pudding.I like to add chopped up fruit the same flavour as the jelly used.Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0

Angel delight type things with choc drops in. Used to have these as a treat in a glass, layered up in different flavours with fruit bits, choc bits etc on each layer. Yum.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

Rice pudding? Not 'quick' to cook, but simple to make. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Mmmm... we like trifle sponge fingers (a.k.a boudoir fingers) topped with tinned fruit cocktail... the fruit juice seeps into the sponge fingers and makes it almost trifle tasting!! And as quick as opening a tin!0
