HELP! Bridesmaid Dress!

So, to cut a long story short, I need a bridesmaid dress that Debenhams have now stopped doing, well they do it in every other colour of the rainbow, but stopped doing it in purple :(

Does anyone know where I can get this dress

http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_008010413647_-1

But in purple in a size 18 or 20? I have a size 16 and it won't do up around the boobs - the wedding is at the end of May this year and there are three other bridesmaids who are wearing this dress so I have to have the same dress :(

    Can it be altered?

Can the BM is question loose a little weight before the end of May?

Maybe with a little weight loss and an alteration it might be ok.

Have to rung head office and asked if they have any in back storage?

    yeah, they have none :(

It may be possible to loose some more weight but I have already lost 3 stone this year and barely any of it has gone off my boobs so doubtful it will fit :(

Not sure if it can be altered - that is the next port of call I think :(

Did the bride buy it too small for you? If so, surely it's her responsibility to sort it out?
    Have you tried ebay?

Have only found smaller sizes so far on ebay for you. :S

    *edit*
Are the three of you wearing boleros? Could you get the strapless version? I think if everyone was wearing a bolero it'd look close enough to the others.

No, I told her to get a 16 as I was losing so much weight and assumed I would also loose it on my boobs - I am a size 14/16 now, but this dress in a 16 just will not do up :(

well I have to say whilst the dress may not fit ..congrats on the weight loss...thats a great achievement whichever way you look at it...would it be a case of some pull in underwear and a different bra or a different style that doesnt push up so to speak...maybe a minimiser to see it that allows the dress to do up?

looking at the back of the dress its quite a deep v...Is the style number different than the one listed on your link have you tried a search of ebay using the style number as some sticists of past ranges will list that in the listing

    Hi,
I wore this dress when I was bridesmaid for my sister in January. I too struggled a bit to get it to fasten around my boobs but found that 'lifting them out' while the dress was fastened and then popping them back in helped a lot. I'm sorry I can't think of any other way to describe it. Unfortunately my dress or the other bridesmaid is not in the size you require.

    Good luck

I'm a larger cup size and do this all the time when doing up dresses. :o May be worth a try OP? Zips are tougher than you'd think. :D
