Pescription from Vet's?

Hi

My old boy has to now take medication every day to keep his fits under control.

I've had 10 days supply and I'm going back to the vets today for a check-up.

I've found this medication cheaper online but it says you need a prescription. Can I ask my vet for this and buy my medication elsewhere?

The tablets are literally half the price online!

Also any recommendations where to buy from? Which web-sites are reliable?

Many thanks

You can ask your vet for the prescription, but he is legally able to charge you for it, worth ago though

I should have known there would be a charge!! Will ask today and weigh up if there will still be a saving if I buy online.

Just called the vets now and they charge £12.60 for a prescription!!

I would still save £10.00 per month though, so worth doing!

You could print out the page showing the cost from the website and ask them to price match it - they might be willing.
