Delivery Charges For Vouchers

I have such a large family and live some distance away from them, that on most occasions like birthdays and christmas I have to buy gift vouchers.
With Xmas just round the corner I needed to buy Toys R Us vouchers amongst others. To save time and travel costs I shop on line, but to my horror, Toys R Us wanted to charge me £4.95 delivery! After a little research I managed to find a site called charity gift vouchers, who will send your vouchers to you for just £1.17 with insured post. :j They provide vouchers for most major shops and leisure companys and if you cant find the voucher your looking for, you can give them the details and they will specially purchase them on your behalf. And....... here is the best bit - we all know its good to give (especially at christmas) and at vouchers 4 charity, 3% of the face value of your voucher order is donated to charity, any uk charity of your choice at NO cost to you!!!:j

Would this be the site you posted about - http://www.vouchers4charity.org.uk/? G

P.S. Btw, I hope your dream comes true :D

Edit: Had a better look & it is indeed the site you posted about. Thank you - it should come in handy sometime :).
  • The Post Office have got vouchers that you can use in many high street shops. Click here for the list of merchants. You can search the voucher by different categories and/or by locations. You can buy online or at Post Offices throught the UK. :D
  • Thanks GoofyGAT for adding the site and link. Indeed it is the one I was talking about, but as my first post was a little unsure if I was allowed to make a link.

I too saw the post office site but without filling in details, I couldnt see how much the postage was going to cost. The charity site offers the multi high street vouchers like Love to Shop and others too.

Edit: Just thought I would let users know that I purchsed some vouchers on Wednesday night and the vouchers arrived this morning (friday) - all present and correct and required a signature. Charity site seems very efficient with a fast service! Im very pleased.
