Digital Camera?

Hi,

I would like to buy a new digital camera with a good optical zoom on. I don’t really want to pay no more than £200. The one I have been looking at is Canon Powershot SX210 IS Digital Camera. Has anybody got this and can recommend? Also do you know where I can find the best deal for it at the moment. On jessops at the moment its £179 then through quidco I get 4% cash back then I can collect in store.

Thanks
Emma

I have one and we love it! The zoom is great. When we were at Disneyland a couple of weeks ago a lady asked me which Camera I had as she could see over my shoulder that I was able to zoom right into the stage really well.

I also love that there is a button to switch to video without actually having to stop and turn the dial to a new function, so I can switch between still shots and video without any fiddling around.

I got ours from Comet I think, but it was just over £200 in the autumn, has come down a bit now. Jessops seems a good price, but I haven't looked that hard. Quidco is a must of course!

    Happy snapping!

Great site. Although all comparison websites and magazines come with their own weighting system that results in a different ranking.

I've read a couple of good review about the Casio Exilim ZR100. You can currently get it at CrescentElectronic.co.uk for £247.23. Casio itself offer £50 cashback which pushes the price below £200. See http://www.exilim.co.uk/cashback/ for more information on the cashback deal.

Jessop’s now have the Canon Powershot SX210 IS for £169 and you can also get a Panasonic Lumix TZ10 for £169.99 from Jacobs Digital, comes with a free leather case as well. I have a Panasonic TZ65 and can't fault it.

You could also check the MegaShopBot for best prices.

You might also want to check the Cashback-Sites Maximiser as well.
