Ok so im not that regular at posting but just want to say thanks to anyone who has helped me on this site and spose Martin aswell lol.
In may of this year i thought there was no way out, i was in a job i hated and getting bullied, had a draw full of DCA letters i wouldnt read and was so miserable at times i thought i would lose my beautiful girlfriend who has also been a massive help.
What a difference 6 months makes
With the help of all on here i am now in a DMP with payplan and feel great. I read this forum a lot and sometimes people have moaned at certain advice but imo every bit of advice has been invaluable to me. It does also help to have very understanding loved ones who help aswell lol. I feel great seeing me actually paying into my debts and not just ignoring them.
Yes i know its pay day etc and ill be skint mid december but just so different to 6 months ago and to all new posters, i even contimplated suicide in my early debt days and had days that were awfully low. but i spose the moral of this waffle is THINGS DO GET BETTER JUST STICK IN THERE.
just to note aswell to anyone who remembers my job thread, i am getting rave reviews from the managers at my current job and have had my hours increased to give me more money and they said they have done it instead of giving me a pay rise cos head office is being a bit funny with regard to finances lol. they said my pay rise will come in around february and im REALLY happy there. Also im moving into my first house (allbeit rented) 1st january and we can save towards the time we get our own place
Once again thanks a lot
ps. sorry i dont contribute as much as others but have family commitments and work etc but do post when i can

I remember seeing a few posts where you were in despiar and I was worried for you as you sounded so blue.
Im so pleased for you and your GF. Shes lucky to have you, you obviousdly love her very much Awwww so sweet to see and that you are tackling this together.
Well done for sticking in there, and to all new posters, hes right you know, things do get SO much better:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Well done biglad:T
I remember reading some of your posts about work and your money problems and remember how low you were at the time. Its great to read that you have taken control of your finances and turned your life around.
Hope you and your girlfriend enjoy your first home together, don't keep knocking it for "only" being rented, you have come a long way and it won't be long before you can start thinking about buying a place of your own.You are still only young and you have learnt a good lesson already about debt.
good luck for the future.
