Sorry if this is posted in the wrong bit.
Had an asda delivery last night, slot was between 7pm and 9pm, he arrived at 9.15. Am I right in thinking I get my delivery charge reimbursed?
Have checked out Asda site and came across this in the Terms and Conditions:-
6 Delivering Your Goods
6.1 We always aim to deliver Your products within the delivery slot We have agreed with You, but We cannot accept liability if We deliver the products outside of this slot or don’t deliver all or any of the products in Your order.
Don't want to phone and complain and look a total t*t if they have changed their policy. Can anyone advise???
Many thanks xx

The exact same thing happened to me on Tuesday night (they were 15 mins late). I rang uo customer services yesterday morning and the lady immediately said she would refund the delivery charge to my card. Next time I'll have my fingers crossed that they'll be late.fifila fluff

Thanks for that, did phone them and charges are going to be refunded.0

Should we really complain about 15 mins delay? I think this is acceptable considering the distances they cover and the constant discount vouchers they offer.
If we claim money back for everything they will just put the prices up.0 -
MY asda delivery arrived at 10.15am today even though I had booked the 11-1 slot. Normally I'm not home at that time, and the only reason I was is because both my kids are off school with a bug. I just saw it as lucky for the driver, if I hadn't been in he would have had to redeliver.
I presume the driver didn't phone you to tell you he was going to be late. We must have really good drivers here because every single time they have been running late the driver has phoned me to explain and check I will still be in. It's one of the big reasons I like asda delivery's over Tesco, Tesco never let you know what's going on.0 -
This happened to us last Saturday night, they called at 9.20 and told us they were running late (our slot was 7-9). We said that it wasn't convenient any more so they delivered the next day. When they delivered, they said that they were refunding our delivery charge and that we would received a £10 voucher in the post as compensation.0
