sunscreen for face

I need a sunscreen for my face, most particularly when I am on holiday. By and large I dont sunbathe so a good 'city' sunscreen that can go under a bit of light make up (just a dab of powder) would do. I dont want anything tinted or anything that leaves a white residue! I don't mind if it is chemicals or not - have a good skin that isnt upset by products
Clarins UV Plus was mentioned by someone, somewhere but its about £25 so if I spend this much want to know it does what it says on the tin first!!!

I've used this one from Avon before and found it good, not sticky or oily.

As soon as the sun starts to shine I switch my eye cream to the clarins sun protection eyecream and it is great. It is very light and is a great base for makeup. generally I am not keen on clarins facial moisturisers but totally rate their eye creams/gels.

Vichy do some great facial sunscreen - not too heavy at all

I use Olay complete care daily UV fluid.. it has SP15 and is fine for the Summer.. disappears quickly and isn't at all sticky

i used boots soltan f50 last week when it was sunny and it rubbed in fine
