sunscreen for face

I need a sunscreen for my face, most particularly when I am on holiday. By and large I dont sunbathe so a good 'city' sunscreen that can go under a bit of light make up (just a dab of powder) would do. I dont want anything tinted or anything that leaves a white residue! I don't mind if it is chemicals or not - have a good skin that isnt upset by products
Clarins UV Plus was mentioned by someone, somewhere but its about £25 so if I spend this much want to know it does what it says on the tin first!!!

As soon as the sun starts to shine I switch my eye cream to the clarins sun protection eyecream and it is great. It is very light and is a great base for makeup. generally I am not keen on clarins facial moisturisers but totally rate their eye creams/gels.If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0
