Loads of great suggestions on this thread.
Encourage everyone to turn their computer monitors off when not at their desk.
Consider using teleconferencing for meetings rather than travelling to them.
MAKE SURE YOUR LINE MANAGER, WHOEVER CAME UP WITH THE INITIATVE KNOWS HOW MUCH MONEY YOU ARE SAVING THEM AND HOW YOUR GREEN EFFORTS ARE INCREASING THEIR PROFITS AND BONUSES. Nothing wrong with making more money and reducing climate change at the same time!0 -
I was looking to go green in the office however we have limited resources so could only afford a small increase in the price of our stationery!
Is this possible and has anyone heard of these guys?

There's a lot you can do without expense:
Turn the heating down would be the biggest one. Open the windows rather than using the air conditioning.
If you have a water boiler one that heats up on demand might be better. Best avoided all together imho though as a kettle is far more affordable and easily maintained or replaced rather than getting a plumber out.
Turn computers / printers, photocopiers off at night.
Reduce printing and when you do have to print use draft mode where you can: print double sided. This would make 100% recycled paper FSC paper more affordable.
Avoid buying water. Use tap water instead.
Avoid coffee machines they're probably overpriced anyway and produce a lot of waste. Fairtrade organic coffee might actually be cheaper than these machines.
If you work for a reasonable sized organisation suggest they appoint someone for energy efficiency.
Have a dress down day on Fridays.
Buy locally rather than have stuff shipped half way across the country.0 -
