Hello,
I'm currently having dealings with a solicitor regarding child residency and divorce. I am also going to file for BR which the solicitor has said they can also help me with as I am a full time student and will not have to pay. Does this sound right?
This feels like a scary path to be taking but I really don't have an alternative and reading this forum has been a big help, so thank you to all posters.

You will be eligable to get remission on the court fee only, you will still have to pay the OR's fees.
Please get in touch with some one like National Debtline and get free, impartial advice on BR.
This is from the sticky marked LOOK HERE FIRST-Bankruptcy Help, I strongly suggest you have a read through and check out the links on there https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1056083
Advice on bankruptcy.
The court/judge will normally ask whether you have taken professional advice that bankruptcy is in your best interest. If they believe you have not taken proper or sufficient advice then your bankruptcy may be refused. There are many places and organisations that you can get advice from, but the ones that people on this board have found most useful are listed below:

It is pretty scary when you first start looking but it soon becomes clearer as you read more and ask questions. Well done on starting to sort things out.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
