Who are the books published by? and are they up to date?

As someone that works in the theory test centre I really do want to stress that an up to date book (and the official DSA one at that) can make a big difference. We keep having people failing with the score of 28/29 - since the last questions update in September there are a small selection of new questions which seem to catch a lot of candidates out.

Also I would suggest that private instructors are generally better and wouldn't recommend learning with the AA.

That said, the L Plates and route planner CD and highway code are probably a relatively decent buy at £10 anyhow.

Fortunately I dodn't have to go through a separate theory test when I took my driving test but do people really fail their test for getting one question wrong
