Survey frustration!

Actually I do recall doing a survey for Tesco through a survey site (am I allowed to disclose who?) and at they end they asked if I wanted to enter my clubcard number. I refused I thought this was a bit more intrusive than normal but maybe that is how they got the list. Otherwise is there somewhere on the Clubcard website you can tick a box?
I think you can tick a box on the clubcard website, I know because I only updated my details in the past two days.
I know I definitely ticked not to be contacted and lo and behold, today I get the email about doing surveys for Tesco. Not very happy as I specifically said no to emails from anyone. :mad:BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
You're crazy lol. 3 hours a night could be spent on something far more profitable. Surveys are just not worth it unless you have a lot of free time and can't find anything better. Have you read the matched betting threads? You could try that. You could also spend that time using ebay to buy and sell on for a profit, work for yourself offering sales/ admin etc (using people per hour and elancer to pick up jobs), work for a saucy chatline, read tarot over the phone, and lots more. The only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing0

Toluna while kind of annoying does have a lot of surveys but they pay in vouchers for Amazon and a few other places rather than cash or paypal.
I like the £5 a day target, good luck with it
Let us know how you are getting on.
Toluna do pay in vouchers, however are very slow at actually sending vouchers out. I'm waiting on Amazon vouchers from January!0 -

In some cases they don't send them at all!!! I waited over 4 months for my £15 voucher only to find they'd "accidentally" wiped all my stats and were no longer sending me anything other than survey invites (which they still send even though i've unsubscribed and marker their emails as spam!). Scam site totally. At best, heel dragging scoundrels. Not worth it at all.The only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing0 -
I've been doing survey sites for almost 2 years. Took a few months off because I was busy with other things - leading to tip #1: do a bit each day to make sure you fill out surveys before they've reached their quota. It can also be a bit boring sifting through lots of surveys that have built up over a week and finding you can't get into most of them. I think it takes just under an hour a day on average, assuming you fill out a few.
Tip #2: sign up to as many as possible. I'm currently on:
- OnePoll
- Valued Opinions
- Toluna
- Pure Profile
- Panelbase.net
- Opinion World
- My Survey
- New Vista
- Ipsos
I used to do Global Test Market but the screen-out rate was awful, often after getting well into surveys. I cashed out and won't be carrying on.
Tip #3: have your wife sign up.
She'll be eligible for different surveys. My husband does OnePoll, Toluna, Valued Opinions and Opinion World. I don't drive, listen to the radio, or choose our insurance providers - he does so gets surveys on those, as well as things where they just want males' opinions. I heard that My Survey doesn't allow people from the same household to sign up, and when you sign up for Ipsos it's as a household rather than an individual.
Tip #4: shop and scan
If you get an invitation and are happy to let people know what you buy and scan in your receipts (card details blanked out) it's an easy way to earn extra money. They pay in vouchers, but have a lot of choice (no supermarkets though). They've just added B&Q so I get those every time. It takes about 10 mins a week to scan the food shopping and the receipt, then upload the scans. I've earned around £140 in the last year just doing that. Haven't had any calls or junk mail as a result.
From 2009-2010 I earned £200-odd, and 2010-2011 I earned £300-odd (that's with a few month's break). No children, no holidays, only a little bit of business travel for husband, and like I said before certain topics on insurance, driving and radio I'm ineligible for - and yet seem to do okay with them.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.
I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.0 -
Sugar.Lady - I have signed up thru your link so there is an extra quid for you. Could you please explain how you make money on this site? The surveys are only for prizes and I cannot find a mystery shopper link or paid surveys?0

Would this be from all the people that click on sugar.lady's link and she then earns £1 from?0
