Joint voting rights?

Hi all,

FTB buyer here and our solicitor highlighted the fact that our mortgage offer refers to 'joint voting rights' - any idea what this means (she's off for a few days and trying not to slow process down)?

    Are you borrowing from a building society?

    If so, your mortgage may confer voting rights as you become members of the society, like savers.

    You can vote at AGMs and elect the Board etc.
