As I want to get into banking/ insurance and am looking for a way in, ideally I want an entry level job in banking/ insurance and then work my way up. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

What qualifications do you have? Are you currently working, if so in what industry? Its hard to get entry level jobs in banking and insurance as most still want some sort of 'previous' experience. Canary Wharf isnt the only area to look in - a lot of firms have offices in the City. Also depends on what sort of role with the bank / insurance firm you want as agencies are usually specialised in certain areas. Have a look on the internet - if you type in "jobs in banking and insurance" you'll be bombarded with ideas!0

I recommend going with an agency for getting into banking. Try workgateways they have lots of info on their site in general, though it is mainly for people immigrating to the UK.0
