What are the rules when being offered these by the dca my friend has been offered many over the last few years some of them very good ie one was £125 for a £845 debt . what do you need to confirm with the dca how do you no they will not sell the rest of the debt etc etc.

Have a search for 'full and final' as I remember on some other threads people have set out the letters required (both to send and what to look for in the letter from the creditors). I haven't done this myself but the people in the know say that everything must be in writing and there is some specific wording you need to receive from the DCA otherwise they might come back years later for the 'remainder'.
