This July Classic FM is giving you the chance to experience ‘The Sport of Kings’ for yourself with a superb day for two at this year’s Glorious Goodwood Festival.
Set high on the Sussex Downs, Goodwood Racecourse is the perfect setting to enjoy top class racing with friends and family. The highlight of the season is undoubtedly Glorious Goodwood which takes place from Tuesday 26 to Saturday 30 July and sees more than 100,000 people flock through the gates.
On 26 July, our lucky winner will enjoy entry to the prestigious Richmond Enclosure where they’ll enjoy a three course lunch, Champagne reception, a £50 tote bet and access into the Winners Enclosure.
There are racing highlights every day, including the Sussex Stakes, Goodwood Cup and Blue Square Nassau Stakes which all feature as part of the inaugural British Champions’ Series, a new initiative launched this year to broaden the appeal of British horse racing. However, for many, Glorious Goodwood is as much about fashion, celebrity-spotting and the prestige of being seen at one of Europe’s best-known sporting events.
To that end, we’ll also help you look the part by including a bespoke David Mason waistcoat for men and a ladies Panama hat designed by Cozmo Jenks.
