Hi all, My daughter and her partner have been charged £300 to changed their mortgage payment date as he is payed around the 15th of the month and the mortgage comes out near the begining of the month. Is this fair and has it happened to anyone else?? Their mortgage is with Santander.

Is it a fee or just an adjustment to cover interest, as in, does £300 seem reasonable for ~15 days interest?
  • Thanks for your fast reply. It seem that the money is for interest for the 15 days.

So I guess it is fair then? You can't be two weeks later in paying your mortgage and pay the same amount as you normally would.
