Very dissapointed with the 2 items I got from the sale yesterday. Both going straight back as the tights are revolting (pic looked nice!) and the top I bought has a massive hole in the shoulder from the sale tags - when will they learn NOT to do this? They ruin so many sale items by putting the tags through the shoulder when they are apparently supposed to put them through the seam?!

It's not just Next either. I've had things with tag holes from Gap and AllSaints. It's really annoying. I think because staff are in such a rush to tag and get stuff out that they don't take any care to put tags through seams.

Thanks for posting this - I didn't see yesterdays post and I wouldn't have looked again as I thought I'd exhausted everything now. Although they have done their usual trick and billed me for stuff they haven't sent because the parcel was "lost" and I'm still waiting for stuff from the December sale.

next to the home delivery tab there is a green store delivery tab - click on it and it takes you to the store options

    Sorry I do not have a store delivery tab..............Am I going blind?
  • I hate next online and the way it sets up an account for you when you go to the checkout and suddenly you have bought something without realising it. Made a complaint today about the pictures of the chest of drawers that are selling just the drawers - they should know better. Don't bother ordering the £12 floral corset - it is so poorly made, with cheap material - this was never a next store product - although saying that, I think the standard of products has fallen rapidly in the last 18 months. Oh I sound like a misery, I really am not.
Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 2016

I agree with you. The corset top is badly made. I bought a top from Next recently - cream, long sleeved, slightly fitted and lovely bead and flower applique. When it came it was three quarter sleeve, a square shape, so thin every bit of frill on my bra showed through and the flowers weren't stitched on properly. I wanted to write a review to warn others but Next won't let you unless you keep the item and have it for more than 30 days. Surely you'd only keep it if you liked it anyway? Therefore reviews can only be positive. Next used to be somewhere I loved to shop but now it's gone downhill and customer services are a nightmare. They just didn't understand at Christmas that I wasn't paying for stuff they hadn't even sent out - and a good job too seeing as most of it never turned up. I always fall for the VIP sale - I think it's the feeling special :rotfl:

    I've been Money Tipped!
I have been on the phone to cust services a few times recently, 2 lots of Emily Ruffles bed covers (costing £50 for a 3 year olds bed!) had frayed after 6 months and I had bought all the matching bedroom stuff....they agreed to refund it bk but then only got the sale price for the lampshade! I also ordered converse trainers for my daughter in 2 sizes, 1 of the boxes was completely empty and a pair of pj's only had the bottoms in the wrapper!!! also had stuff showing on my statement that has not been sent to me -i asked if there was a problem in warehouse as not exp problems in past but apparently nothing has been reported. I have to say the CA I spoke to today was brilliant and the items have been refunded but a drop in standards for sure :(

glad it's not just me noticing the quality has gone rapidly downhill, I bought a pair of jeans last summer that have now worn through on both knees, and I don't wear them very often, I have got a pair from about 10 years ago that are in pretty good shape
I keep going to look in there for tops but they are sooooo thin you know they 'll go out of shape on the first wash
might as well shop at Primark, quality is about the same

I don't rate the womens stuff (mostly because the chances of meeting someone wearing the same item is quite high)
But I do like the kids stuff at 50% off and I usually manage to get everything I like in the sales.
I agree with the holes in the tops though from misplaced sales tags - and missing items from sets - their quality control leaves to be desired!
I sent back an outfit because the tights were missing - managed to find another one in the sale and got the same one back with the missing tights!
  • I do like the kids stuff but without the sale they cost alot. If I can grab them in the sale thats great.

i ordered 7 items yesterday, i chose to open an account so i can try items before i buy etc... 6 of them in stock so dispatched today ( waiting for them to arrive) and 1 of them to be deliver on Wednesday cos i am away from tomorrow till tuesday.

I checked online and my delivery for today is being arrange in 3 separate packages, is that normal ? it is says that i can just return for free but no if i am returning all the order.. is this a trick ? will these parcels treated as different orders?

    thanks
