Planet Earth / Spooks DVDS to view in US

Hi - not sure if I am posting in the right place so pls feel free to move.

I want to buy the DVDs of Planet Earth and Spooks to send to a friend of mine to view in the States. Does anyone know where I can get hold of these at a good price?

All help appreciated.

If they have a multi-region player, then no problem, but they are rare in the USA.

otherwise, a USA or Canadian seller may be able to ship direct to your USA based friend or you'll be looking at lots of postage charges.

Planet Earth is available on Region 1 DVD from places like Amazon US. Spooks is called MI-5 in the USA (as Spook is an insulting slang term there) and is also available on DVD there.

When we send stuff to FIL, he just watches it on his laptop. Seems to have no problem with regions that way. Might the person you're sending to be able to do this?

go on https://www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk and choose region 1, this lists the cheapest price around for usa users
