We are hoping to get mortgage at the end of the year. It will be in my husbands name only as I have just gone self employed. People have been saying they need 3 months bank statements, but his wages get paid into my account. Will this matter? The only thing going into his account is the child benefit. We have been talking and what we are going to do it I am going to pay for half the property in cash, and then he is going to get a mortgage for the other half.
