I got letter from them today.

Basically, they want me to call them as soon as possible to discuss matter further.

But bit confuse cos my letter was sent on Monday 18/4, but I wrote it on Friday so dated 15/4 and the letter from them has date 13/04 so actually i don't know if it is answer for my letter or what...

How can it possibly be an answer to a letter that had not been sent until some five days later?

They send out letters in bulk through second class post or via TNT (or some other cheap service) as they really do not care if they arrive in a timely manner; if it was cheaper to send letters by carrier tortoise, they would do.

    Hi

I need to ask barclays to accept token payments too, tho very nervous about asking. Did you have to speak to them over the phone or did they act upon the letter you sent them?

    Thanks

dazla, i have never spoke to them, they phone me couple of times but when i picked up it was automated service so i cut it. they were txting me in one point as well asking to call them.

We got letters about both of our barclaycards and they stopped charges and interest for two month and will be contacting us after that.

I agree. Remind them that they are subscribers to The Lending Code and this states:
Thank you for this post - I will add it to my second letter to LLoyds regarding my loan
