I secured another interview today for tomorrow its only part time but will be a massive income boost for us.

Hope the interview goes well, even if it is not a huge income, the sense of peace you will get from having that little extra will be worth millions to you. And once you see yourself climbing out of the dark hole you feel as if you are in, you will be a different person and be able to take much more without stressing.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

The court letter does actually state we (myself and OH) are summoned to court, so is this definately only a liability order?

It will be - the have to summons you to court as you have the right to face the magistrate and its the magistrate who grants the order.
I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.
  • Thank you so much for your well wishes :)
Its so nice to know theres support out there.
CIS do you know if we actually do have to attend then? Im just concerned that it could be the same judge and he will think "oh she obviously doesnt give a damn" and im on a suspended sentence! So if we dont have to go id rather not :o

  • Congratulations! You've had a lot of trouble but it's great that you'll be able to start working on your finances. And being in employment will not only give you a huge morale boost - it will look good to your creditors, too.

    Best of luck!

I am definately more positive now, and whats more is the job was advertised as 20 hours but theyve given me 35 :T
So im 200 a week better of plus tax credits, i can more than afford to clear these debts in a few months.
I wish all the luck to anyone else in similar situations, and just know that your luck really can change overnight! :D
