Hi,
Was wondering if anyone knows how to get a pitch at the Crumlin road car boot sale on Sunday as I phoned number I found on website and they said they no longer dealt with the boot sale so not sure what time you have to be there for or if u have to book a pitch?
Also was considering trying the templepatrick boot sale on Fri nite- does anyone know if this is still on or if it is busy? Also do u need to book a pitch in advance or just turn up?
Thanks0 -

I have been to the Dunsilly carboot and the people selling say they have been there since 7am. If the weather is to be warm and dry, then the place is packed. There is a carboot in the church at Dundrod...you can't miss it as you would pass the church on the corner if you came off the roundabout (at Nutts corner)heading towards Dundrod/Lisburn. The first one this yr is the last Sat in the month...this month. This is always well supported and again good if weather good. There is a HUGE one at Greysteel ..on a Sunday morning....and you follow the coast road towards Londonderry/Derry as if you were going to the airport. Doors open from 8am for traders and 8.30am for buying public.:beer:0

The one at Dunsilly, Antrim on Saturday is massive - up to 150 stalls I would say and mostly genuine carbooters with very few trade stalls. Starts very early (7.00am I think)
There is also a good one at Ballymena on Saturday morning (behind the cinema and opposite Sainsburys). Maybe 50 stalls maximum. Quite a few regulars/trade/collectors and house clearance people and charity stalls as well as pure carbooters. There is a variety/farmers market beside it which is always popular as well.0 -
