Cheap but Beautiful

I am going to a ball in two weeks, and need a ball gown/evening dress (size 16-18). I've checked e-bay and the majority are all imports from China. Please can anyone help me in finding the perfect dress at a perfect price perlease?!

Have you tried searching eBay for UK only, and in the Vintage and Wedding Clothes > Bridesmaid categories as well as Eveningwear? Would something like item 250054867078, 130051223380, 110058148038, 300053923811 or 120059005118 be any good? You could also try your local charity shops.
If you do buy on eBay, I'd advise asking the seller if they could send it Special Delivery, which will cost about £7.40 (excluding packing), but will guarantee it reaches you next working day.

Have you looked at Monsoon? They have lots instore but there also tends to be a lot on ebay. Will have a quick look for you ...

Just had a look, if you search on 'Monsoon Dress 18' there are loads. Also, I'm just about to put on a size 16 dress - look out for it! x

I adore Monsoon but is very much out of my price range. I have dreams of a cinderella dress, but think I'll end up with the cinders rags. Hahahaha
