Making baby headbands

I am thinking of starting to make and sell baby headbands. There are a few people doing it on facebook, just wondered if any one had ever done this before and has any advice. Going to have a look on internet to see where to buy the bits for it. Not quite sure where to start!

you need to remember they need to be safe and fit for purpose, ie no glued on beads etc that could be pulled off and swallowed , just search for "bling baby" on ebay and see the sort of unsafe stuff i mean

remember if you make it you would be legally responsible if its found to be unsafe

You need insurance as well, I have crafters insurance, I make baby items and there is so much red tape if you are doing it corrctly its unreal.

For baby head bands I use heavy duty 100% cotton fabric and a nice thick elastic, everything is stitched, nothing is glued so there is no risk of the baby choaking on something lose. I also make sure I double stitch any attachments so if one fails the other still has it attached.
