Hello Everyone,
I have just posted (my first ever post) on the lonas board and have been told to head over here by Clapton. Please can someone look at the post below and give me some advice?
My husband and I both have debts which we wwere happily slowly paying off but I have just had to go part time at work as my baby has been poorly so now we cannot afford our monthly repayments without going about £300 more overdrawn each month. I want to consolidate all my husband’s credit cards and loans (2 loans and 7 c cards). I would need 25k to do this and saw tesco do a loan for 10 years (ideal because we need payments to be as low as poss for now). What do you think, other route is debt consolidation or similar but I am so scared of this......
soo....
current debts - husband £30k, me £25k
income - husband £31k/year, me was £30k year but now will be £12k year
credit files say - credit expert say husband has £19k credit remaining but he was recently turned down for another credit card, we have not missed a payment until last month when we swapped bank acc to santander and dd did not go out (but we paid them all up as soon as we found out they hadnt been paid).
The thing is we pay £900/month for his debt and all I want to do is still pay it off but over a longer period.
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks xx

Hi there well done for posting.
The best way of doing this is for you to complete your SOA (Statement of Affairs) - which details all your incomings and outgoings. This way, people can advise whether or not a loan would be best for you. There's a link to doing the SOA in one of the posts at the very top of this forum.
If you complete it and post it in here people will be around to help you.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0
