Just want to let everyone know the situation.

This morning I got a letter from ING Direct, apologising for all that has happened and they say they have raised it at director level to ensure it doesn't happen again.

They also added a little something to soothe the stress I went through for a few days, which I didn't expect, so that has certainly made me feel they realised the importance of my data being mislaid as it was.

It seems that hopefully my data hasn't been misused, and I will be able to relax and enjoy the benefits of the flexible rate mortgage with ING Direct, which has to be one of best rates on the market at the moment. Just hope they keep it that way.

Thank you all for your words, it helps a lot to have others who have more experience of this than me.

I'm very interested in what the 'little something' was as I have ongoing dispute with my building society. Would you mind telling us?
    Thanks

Chill out and keep things in perspective.
Easy advice when it is not happening to you.iI am always amazed when someone acts the Mr/Mrs Chill-out from the side-lines one of my pet hates.
