New Job?

Hi there.
I have been for a job interview - will find out who's got it next week. It is for 2 days a week and apparently there is flexibility in which 2 days (although they would be consecutive). If I were offered the job I was thinking of asking for Monday and Tuesday - because I was thinking of all those bank holiday Mondays! (and Tuesdays). Would I get paid for these days in the normal course of events as they are my 2 normal working days? Or might I have to work two extra days? I know this would probably differ from company to company, but does anyone know if there is any standard formula?

You would get the bank holidays proratered - so if you are working 2/5 of a normal employee you will get 2/5 of the bank holidays and general holidays. The extra bank holidays could either be taken as normal holiday from your allowance or you could work another day in the week to make up the shortfallAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
