I tried this today. Only bought a few things, but think one of them might mess up. If using mysupermarket.co.uk to put 5 'Mug Shot' pastas into the basket of different flavours, it costs £2 as Asda have an offer but £3.40 at Tesco. So DTD is £2.80 making next cost £0.60...bargain.
However, on my receipt although one flavour is showing as 'Mug Shot' the other flavour is showing as 'Soup'. If your receipt isn't showing the accurate description, is this going to be a problem? As they definitely are 5 for £2 at Asda yet £3.40 at Tesco, but concerned they'll just screw me over and won't recognise that my three 'Mug Shots' and two 'soups' are the same thing.
If it doesn't go through....can you actually return food to tesco? I've never done that.0 -
