But can anyone verify this? Has anyone used a non-existent email address successfully?

Is there any need? It takes 30 seconds to get one from hotmail.

I've just entered a different email address with my reciept details in the hopes it might force an email through somewhere... still said processing on screen, nothing in any email accounts yet :(
If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside! :)

Apologies if this has been mentioned but...beef again :)

For folks in Scotland, the beef roasting joint that is identical to the one in the spreadsheet apart from a 'Scotch beef' name on the packaging doesn't pricematch. Shame really because that's the only option I have up here. :(

I was always sceptical but in the spirit of 'nothing ventured, nothing gained' I bought a roast...no joy.

You mean its gonna go back up to £9.99? :D
    :rotfl:

And if Asda keeps it at £4.06, better than free wine! And I am perfectly happy with 51p Wolf Blass

Can people please format their results so separate items are on new lines? Petty I know but makes it soooo much easier to read :D

To do this, Paste special > Unformated text (in Word) or copy/paste into Notepad etc first before pasting in here.

Could somebody please confirm..............do Tesco's run an overcharging policy at all?

I bought a whole large chicken last night, the £3.19/kg one, weighed just over 2kg and they charged me £6.60. Today, I look on the Tesco website and they have the same chicken on offer, reduced from £3.19kg to £1.59/kg and it says offer valid from 14/04/2011 to 17/04/2011 plus they have quoted the wrong weight on the pricecheck, said it was 4kg, in order to mess up the DTD. If this is valid from 14/04, then they have overcharged me on the one I purchased last night (I have receipt as proof).

Just spoke to CS and she said that once the pricecheck is done, it's done and there's nothing I can do about it, so I said "well shall I just return the chicken to the store then, because you've overcharged me", she responded that anything from the chilled sections must be returned within 20 minutes, or you can't take it back!!! I don't believe that for one moment, but does anybody here have any knowledge of the overcharge scenario?

Also feel an idiot now, because she took my details and I gave her my real postcode!!! I suspect that they are making these mistakes on the pricechecks on purpose, in order to collate people's details against their clubcard details. Oh well.

    Thanks in advance

That is rubbish, you've been overcharged, of course you can take back. the stores do not like to take back chilled items after 20 minutes because they have to waste them. However under their returns policy you have 28 days to return
