These toothbrushes are completely disposable - you can't replace the heads! That's why the price tag at T's is so much of a shocker!
:eek: i didn't realise that! what a ridiculous price for a kids tootbrush then (unless you get dtd ;) )
    Happy Bargain Hunting!!

Tesco Operates a Fair use policy on Price Check. As such:
    1. The number of Price Check requests is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount of Price Check Vouchers that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.
    2. The maximum value of an individual Price Check Voucher is capped at £20.
    3. Only one Price Check Voucher may be redeemed per household per day.
EDIT: does nobody read the T&Cs? You wouldn't enter a contract without knowing what your signing after all ;)

It's not a contract, it's just a shop running a promotion and people can bend the rules as much as they can get away with :D

    No fraud allowed, though.

just heading out now - can anyone help?

im not sure how tesco know which one to confirm as some have and some havent. my barcode on the lamb was completely different to others ones so i thought it would be n/a but it was confirmed and got DTD.

If there is some barcodes listed on the spreadsheet maybe write them down and take along whilst you compare, if none match then i suppose take a gamble? or not?

your looking for the new zealand Whole leg of lamb think someone posted needs to be between 1.7kg and cant remember the other weight sorry lol! aim for between 1.7kg and maybe 2kg mine was just under 2kg (1.9 i think) and was fine.

    good luck!
  • On the ASDA website Tilda Basmati rice (1kg) is £3.00 and in Tesco it is £4.49. This has been the case for a few days.

has anyone bought this recently and has it come up as a N/A?

The reason I ask is because I got stung having bought Filippo Berio EV Olive Oil (1ltr) for £6.49 at T having checked it was on the ASDA website for £3.00 and when it came back it was N/A.
  • I don't want to be rude, but firstly don't tell me what to do (on a PUBLIC forum) and secondly do you really think Tesco haven't already though of anything posted on here and another 10 things on top too. They are thick, but not that thick!!!

I would worry if a corporation relied on a public forum to dictate their own t's and c's :) People are overly paranoid. If you are using this promotion within the specified t's and c's then you are fine, even if going slightly against the spirit of the deal.

Also, for those calling tesco stupid, £1 spent in every £6 in the UK goes through a tesco till, so they aren't doing too badly :) Seriously though, what was probably a quick win idea (or maybe just taking asda's own refund the difference offer further), they clearly didn't expect or prepare for the power of the internet. Groups formed overnight, the spreadsheet was born, and that provides people with the opportunity to shop err tactically.

There are many ways they could restrict this offer further, although the simplist would be to clamp down on those who are abusing the system the most.

Yes tesco are probably losing a bit of money over it, and i'm sure they will find a way to stop those making the most out of this system. Most likely they will drop to and match asda's just the difference offer....
  • do the cars toothbrushes not have the same code on them as the princess, tigger & wall-e? thanks :)

I bought one that had the same barcode yesterday...still waiting for the results to come back :(
