I generally order my shopping online from Tesco.com, but having read some of this I may make a special trip to the Tesco's 10 miles from me tomorrow. I get the impression that buying specific items that are going to trigger the DTD vouchers is frowned upon? Should I not scan my clubcard when I pay for the items, as presumably after doing this on a regular basis Tesco will see that I'm just buying items to get a DTD voucher each time I shop?
I've just started putting a few select items in my shopping basket via mysupermarket.com and my total is £37.32 with Tesco and £21.60 with ASDA, I guess I should remove a couple of things to reduce the difference to £10.
What exactly is likely to happen if I go to the store in person tomorrow and just buy items that are going to get me a £20 DTD voucher, do they try to stop you from shopping there in future? Or do the problems only start when you are paying for your shopping solely with DTD vouchers?
All depends on your store, I have had no problem spending just over the value of the dtd voucher and then using the next receipt with another dtd voucher. No one has commented on what I have bought.
Usually the SA hasn't seen one in there before.0 -

but there is confusion about which Vanish tubs are working at this price. I purchased it today with a SEL of £12.00 (confirmed on an in-store scanner too) but I think you need to check at the point you buy it at to be sure of the price.
Saw this on wed and it was 50% off down to £6 it was in a big pink end of aisle display box.
thought about getting some but i had my DTD list... must keep to the list...:rotfl:0 -

I found that today, had higher sel yesterday annd messed up on of my vouchers
Do you think this is how Mr T is getting his own back on us DTDers?
reducing scanned prices but leaving SELs same, little does he know we donot give up so easily:D:pGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -

I think that promo is for a different 'flavour' of Vanish. I saw it too in my store when buying the proper one and knew it wasn't the same product as mineDTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -
Think the wolfie b and strongbow are at the top of my list- 20 cans for £8.45...the OH will love me forever!£20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0

Thats what I do - a DTD shop as I call it. Just items that will create around £20 DTD. Nothing extra in case those (extra) items happen to be less at Tesco which would then affect your DTD balance. Then I use the DTD voucher on my next shop - sometimes thats another DTD shop, sometimes just an 'ordinary' one - whatever ordinary is these days0 -
I'm guessing the ipod tesco shopping app is mega handy for checking prices? Has anyone tried it? Shame they don't have free wifi instore so I could use my ipod

I'm dying to know who it is i've seen in one of my locals tescos. You and your friend were infront of me & my friend at the basket till at about 10pm last night, your friend bought lenor and you were walking out as I was walking in at about 6pm tonight and you had Vanish in your carrier bag. I know that you spotted us last night because you grinned at us! The store is in South Manchester, in quite a trendy area opposite a large cinema......
Come on, reveal yourself, was it you??0 -
