Just had my online shop delivered and handed over my voucher and the guy says "Oh, I havent had one of these before, you dont give it to me you scan it on your computer" :D err ... I don't have a scanner on my computer?? He was totally confused, I kept telling him to take it with him back to the store but he really didnt want to, kept saying he'd probably lose it  In the end he agreed to take it but wrote down my order number, name and address on it, gave me head offices phone number and the stores number to call in case he got it wrong, asked me to call the store later to check it was all ok, bless him he was really flummoxed, to the point that I was then getting confused, but can someone please confirm that I did the right thing and he should have taken it with him back to the store?? :D

someone wanted a tip to use a £20 voucher to get £20 back while buying the finish d/w tabs and other non-DTD essentials to balance it out so here's my confirmed shop from yest. cancelled out the extra 'income' from the d/w tabs + lynx by buying andrex loo rolls which we needed in any case and didn't affect the DTD. also used the £2 coupon off previous d/w tabs for free flash wipes! hth x

    TOTAL £ 21.84 £ 11.48

1 x FLASH STRONG WEAVE WIPES LEMON 60 PACK
    £ 2.00 £ 1.00

    1 x LYNX SHOCK SHOWER GEL 250ML
    £ 2.37 £ 1.00

    1 x FINISH ALLIN 1 DISHWASHLEMON 56'S
    £ 12.98 £ 5.00

    1 x ANDREX T/TISSUE WHITE 9 ROLL 2169 SHEET
    £ 4.49 £ 4.48 - SS update, old SS says £4.49 / £4.20.
Thanks for that way of doing it.

    Another way

    Flora
    Aqua Fresh
    Comfort
    Finish tablets
    Pot Noodle

    Total £20.06
    DTD £23.12

    Attention please

Just an attempt to get to the bottom of the lamb mystery.
Can we please have a couple of barcode numbers posted from both lamb that has worked and lamb where Tesco have multiplied it up so that it doesn't match for DTD.
Thanks guys, let's see if there is a certain barcode to avoid.

just back from doing four shops and gave friend a dtd voucher I had generated (single mum, 2 kids so no treats for mum till today:j). Was allowed to do them all one after the other and cashier was lovely and chatty even when she saw the vouchers I had:T The only thing she did insist on was the clubcard used to get the vouchers:eek: didn't want to give her my real one so daughter gave her a temporary one she had picked up, friend used her own one as this was her first voucher. Cashier was very apologetic and explained that the voucher wouldn't go through without the original cc! We were all trying not to laugh as the ones used hadn't seen light of day for this:rotfl::rotfl: They had had a meeting with managers and had been told this and that it's not open to staff and they will be traced if they try:mad: wot a mean man:( We were all trying not to laugh as the cc's used ones used hadn't seen light of day for this:rotfl::rotfl:

Only minor upset was trout at Maryhill (middle-aged Asian lady) who tutted and said, "Where did you get this?" flapping the voucher, quickly followed by, "is it from the internet?" I replied, "Yes, and the receipt I gave you was entered on the tesco website to generate the voucher". "You can't get that much from this receipt" was the reply.

it's on the off chance that i find a trout like this i carry a print out of the first page as well where it clearly shows the t/a comparison in plain english and says print voucher. it's as clear as day then and they really have nothing to say as it's 'proof' so to speak. an extra page to print but worth it's weight in gold when they have no recourse but to scan it without fussing..
