Why not put some of your cheap/free shopping to a fantastic cause, I am not trying to start the whole "Our government should be supporting them, not us debate" just trying to help people do their good deeds for the day.
Operation Shoebox is a great site which sends out carepackages in the form of shoeboxes filled with basic goods which are well received by our troops abroad.
The types of things they are after are:- Cotton T shirts, Vests, Sports Socks
- Flip flops
- Beanie hats
- Gloves (please be aware that black is the most widely accepted colour)
- Combs, Hair scrunchies
- Emery boards, small hand/body lotion
- Toothbrushes & Toothpaste
- Lip salve
- Small tins of vaseline (green& yellow)
- Disposable Razors
- Roll on deodorants
- Small packs of wet wipes

HAHAHA, brilliant clever dog, you will be busy cleaning up after that one I suspect. at least what what he ate won't hurt him.
He is very clever, always thinking of new mischief to get himself into.!!
He is partial to borrowing the cats food, well he has been brought up with 3 cats, normally just the odd bowl full though!
Add to all that 1 cat 'borrows' his dog food, 1 cat has OCD. (shes fine unless you fuss her then she has to clean! clean! and clean some more!)..Then her sister likes the dog cleaning her ears.
Damn what a mental house to live in.Clearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.
I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.0 -

Forgot to say, on my trip this morning I saw a classic Tesco con trick. I was going for the Shredded Wheat Bite Size 500g (£1.98 T, £1.00 A). The 750g packs had a big SEL saying how they were a few pence cheaper than Asda, but mysteriously the 500g SEL didnt indicate it was almost double the price of Asda. Every time I see them doing something like that it removes any doubts I have about DTDing.
Does anyone else get the urge to write on the SEL's to give a "cheaper" comparison?! The thought has crossed my mind a few times now! :rotfl:The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
