Handed over my first DD voucher tonight. There were no manned tills open so had to go through self-serve. When I scanned voucher (for £8.56), it wanted appoval. The assistant said that the vouchers cannot be put through a self serve till, so she had to suspend the transaction and open a manned till to recall the transaction and put the voucher through. The receipt now says Recalled Transaction in big letters across the top. Hope this doesn't stop the DTD going through on. Anyone had this happen to them? Did the the next DTD voucher come through ok?

    Has anyone tried dolmio sauces 750g £1.90 T £1 A - DTD potential £1.80?
    Yes confirmed
    Shop one - A vs T
    Shop two - A vs W
    And then repeat :j:j:j
    & now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Crack open a bottle of free wine and get the party started I say - could be a late night!

In my final interview today they asked what I had been doing since being made redundant a couple of months ago. I explained that I had been doing a fair bit of data analysis work on a freelance basis for a major supermarket! As honest an answer as I could give!

I am not in any way criticizing the SS but 5 of my family members who weren't bothered about this promotion have passed it on to eachother and have started doing quite a few shops, it makes it far too easy for lot's of people to be doing it, I don't think Tesco will pull it because of this but I do thibk that members of staff will become a lot more troublesome if they are seeing more and more of them! I do think it was better before but that is just my opinion, Thank you to the wonderful people that update it, but I just hope it isn;t straining you all too much. Reading this thread and going shopping is enough for me!!

You know, I thought exactly the same thing. And it has the potential to go viral too (if it hasn't already), meaning we are always 24 hours away from the whole thing being pulled once the general populus get wind of it. I'm not saying I'm against the SS per se, just I think it has made things ridiculously easy now for lurkers and the like - minimum effort (contributing to discussions), maximum rewards.

I still haven't used the SS, but I have looked at it when it's been posted here within the chat and a tiny shiver goes up my spine each time at the depth of information available to anybody!

  • Some people had success with this today, but mine came back N/A, as did at least one others.

Thanks...Just wondered as I couldn't see it on the spreadsheet

Of course! I have no intention of giving up and actually rely far more on posts here than on the spreadsheet as the amount of work involved in it's upkeep is unsustainable in the long term for all those involved. i hasten to add they are doing a sterling job at the moment however, but the editors do have lives too!;)

I very rarely refer to the SS myself, I have shown it to others to help explain the process easier, but I just check, check and double check my own shopping list.
